A lawyer with a particular focus on private and public sector and the infrastructure and utility sectors, John advises all relevant stakeholders including lenders, project promoters, government bodies and contractors on all aspects of law within such sectors, including project finance, concession arrangements, construction, outsourcing and joint venture arrangements. In relation to energy matters, John’s experience includes advising on all aspects of project development and finance, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to co-founding Darko, Keli-Delataa & Co, John worked with Mobil oil Ghana and served as an Energy Counsel for Global Energy USA, Inc. He was involved in the evaluation of Global Energy’s operation and Maintenance agreements. He drafted the company’s dispute resolution policy and ensured that as much as possible MOU’s contained credible and reliable arbitration provisions that ensured that we will not race to the courts. This saved the company thousands of dollars in legal fees. John was is currently Lecturer in Environmental Law with GIMPA Law faculty, one of the best universities in Ghana
